Now that Facebook app sucks...

What do you all use? I've heard of some people using the browser, as they say it has the same interface as the app, but I don't like to keep logging in via browser and I am not a big fan of saving credentials in the browser.

I'm looking for a Facebook app that has almost or more features than the current app and actually works TODAY (fb app loads pictures on tomorrows). Official app would be fine if it didn't pretend we were still back in the 56k days.

So, any suggestions?

I've always used the stock app. I guess I don't fb enough for it to matter all that much - maybe my friends don't post a lot of pictures? I did try the browser version at one point, but it was WAY too clunky.

Thanks. I've heard that too from the web interface.

Facebook is having issues lately. Idk why. Its like they went public and then fell on their sword.

I'm going to try that one too. I'm a little tempted to buy FriendCaster. Very smooth so far. I'll give the FB for mobile a try too. Thanks!

Friendcaster isn't bad, but you can't do as much on it, like respond to pokes. (Yeah I know, that makes me sound like a 12 yr old girl)

Lol. It seems very smooth to be honest, but I've just realized that, for some reason, it's having all kind of issues with wifi. Not sure what the deal is. So far its looking like a winner.

Lol, i use friendcaster and i like it a lot. A lot of settings and a good-looking interface... But lately I've been having problems with the push notifications. I think it's something with the leak I'm on though, idk..

I have tons of issues with Friendcaster and it throws errors at everything except for simple things like posting status updates or replies. Can't respond to most notifications because of this except replies and friend requests.

Not complaining though as it's not Friendcaster fault. My security settings in Facebook itself are set very high. Friendcaster could just be updated though to handle this a little more elegantly then it currently does as no thought it seems went into how to handle these issues. I bet lots of people get these same errors that it do and have no clue why and blame the app itself. I just use it though to reply to stuff once in a blue moon though so it does all I need, and looks a lot better and is a LOT smoother (as others have said) than the official FB app. Actually I'm not sure why I even have it installed as for all my needs using the browser works just fine. I can get into the desktop version if I need to and it works just fine for everything I do. And now that I've thought about it I think I am just gonna uninstall Friendcaster.

Agreed. To me, it's a really really polished and smooth app. I wish FB could look smooth like this. For me, when I first installed FriendCaster, it took about 2 minutes to load for the first time. Also, it seems like Wifi doesn't work with the app when I have it turned on -- not sure what that's about. I uninstalled it when I tried replying to someone's status and it gave me an error.. I'm on the lookout again.
