i know one of the main reasons of root is for battery power. im rooted using sonofskywalker rom, and adw launcher ex. does anyone have any suggestions on what programs i can get rid of now that im running this system?

thanks in advance

The best way to improve battery life is to turn your phone off.

Next to that, turn the phone on, but don't use it.

Next to that, set syncronization to longer time frames and don't use PUSH unless you absolutley need it.

Next to that, turn your screen brightness down when not needed.

Next to that, get an extended battery.

I have tested all sorts of battery performance increase applications and found that nothing works as well as the above suggestions. To be honest, I could not find any real measurable results with any of the apps...root or no root. The increase in performance is mostly a figmant of your imagination. Or it is so small it is nearly undetectable.

Don't drive yourself nuts. Plug the phone it to bump the charge when ever you get a chance and enjoy the damned phone. And read the thread that is pinned to the top of the forum for all sorts of discussion about batteries in the TBolt.
