The NVIDIA Shield Portable was groundbreaking when it was released. It was a portable gaming device featuring NVIDIA's top portable graphics chip. I know many people who still use theirs to this day. Those same people would have been lining up to buy an updated version. We know that Nvidia had plans for a second version of the hand held gaming device that fell through. Apparently the idea had at least made it to the prototype stage as someone found the prototype in a Pawn Shop!
Reddit member "FwrigginRwootbeer" found the device in a pawn shop in Canada. He posted a screenshot of the device with the specs which included a Tegra X1 chipset. The guy says it runs well and even boots games. It looks like he has decided to sell the device hoping for a profit. Either way this was a pretty cool find.
