Obtaining an SBF...

There are SBFs for the Milestone. Having them did not allow alternative roms to be applied. If the roms need to be signed they need to be signed. Someone needs to figure out the way around that. So far it sounds like the boot-recovery tool itself is locked down too. It's still early but remember how long some of the other phones have taken to be rooted. Someone's not going to just come across a magical file though. When someone unlocks it that feat will become big news.
