Office gone?

Hi all,

Another noob question...

Rooted - On Liberty but now Open Office is gone? It came w/ my X and now it's not. Just wondering, is there a file I can install for Office or do I have to now buy it to have it on a rooted / rom installed x?

There are some places that you can download the system apk's. Most of them now have the bundled all up in one package. You could also grab one of the roms around the forums that still has that program (apex) and pull the quickoffice apk out and throw it in your /system/app folder

I think that'll work without a problem.

I'm not 100% sure on if I should or should not post a link to the stock apk's, so if you need it pm me and I'll send it over..

There was a post in the liberty section with the APK file to install however I did a quick peek and could not find it, I however did dl when I saw it and now I share it with you. dancedroid

I got it back with the fission rom manager. Installed and workes like a charm

also a great idea to back up apps with Titanium Backup before switching roms... then you can just restore once youre up & running :blackdroid:
