Get it yet? I haven't. I live in Nebraska, and bought my Tbolt mid July. Two of the parameters I wonder if they go by in sending updates.

Google android police thunderbolt gingerbread. Look for the post that has a 2.11.605.5 in it and follow the instructions.

Disclaimer: will completely wipe your device and you will lose root. The OTA will only kill root and not data so up to you on which you want.

If you're rooted, you don't want to do either of those things.

I tried the update under root and it just locked up during boot. So don't do it if you are rooted. Went to back up and restore and fortunately was right back where i started. Have BAMF but still no VM notification.

Yeah, don't do that. You'll have major problems. I know first hand from a few months back.
