ok, i just installed the first custom rom. it was actually pretty easy and everything went smooth. i used liberty 1.5 BTW. my question is, if i choose to, how would i change roms? would i have to uninstall liberty and then install another one? can someone give me some instructions on this please?

Congrats on your rom! I hope you made a stock backup so you have an easy way back.

If at some point if you want to load a new rom just make a backup of Liberty in case you want to go back to it and then install the new rom just like you did Liberty.

Always make backups as you go and you will always be covered!

I think I got the hang of it. I actually was able to install a theme as well. There is only one thing I have a problem with... on the "dock" I guess is what you call it... where you push the app drawer, browser, or dialer.. the browser and dialer icon is yellow. How do I change the color??

You have to change the theme. Get Liberty Toolbox from market and take a peak inside. It has a theme section. Easy as pie.

liberty tool box, liberty mods, icon picker, then tap on phone and browser icons of the ones you want.
you can also check out ADW launcher or Launcher Pro and you will be able to change the icons to anything you have on your SD card.

icons can be found all over the internet, just google it.
