I meant..one says i will keep my settings/apps when NOT wiping and one says i will lose them, and need titanium etc. Which is it?

You will not lose any settings/apps if you just install 1.1 OVER 1.0. This may lead to some problems down the road, or it may not. But if you do not wipe and just install over, you will lose NO settings.

Google music was pulled out of system apps due to signature issues. Wipe data and then install the latest version from market.

Just installed 1.1 a lil bit ago, everything seems great! Before adobe flash player wouldn't update due to signature, now it does, but superuser isn't becuz of signature error. Just wanted to let Maverick know.

Also, can neone tell me why on my OG Droid facebook I sinc contacts to facebook app but Droid 3 it syncs to the mobile site in broswer? I just want an explaination.

That fixed my issue. Also, even if it "fails" you should still be able to update SU

Reguarding the su thing. I've been testing stuff today and have wiped and reset 3 times today. Each time I had no issue updating SU. Anyone having issues, could you please tell us the steps you followed to install and whether you wiped or not. Safestrap or bootstrap etc.

I do so hate wiping all my data and starting over...i wish we could integrate an imaging tool into the roms that would pull our data images from a specific spot on our sd cards and auto update all the missing info....but i DID wipe and google music IS back on with the new version. TY new mav seems just as awesome as old mav however, is their a way to edit the "maverik" banner?

Do you have Titanium Backup? I have a feeling that Titanium may be able to replace the apk without error, but I can't say for sure.

Ah...didn't notice that. I was so used to having that already from GO launcher I forgot it wasn't standard equipment. I like the ROM so far though...Gonna tweak it a bit and probably get the DJ for it.

Thy cleaned it up a bit, so there wasn't so many. Install the DroidJunk Tools in the OP and I think it adds it back - or gives you that ability (don't use them, so not absolutely sure)

I have TB, and use it frequently, but it seems if you have any funky files in your system when you do a backup it will super screw everything when you do a restore - I ran into the problem that playing songs through google music, the files played were not the file names i was choosing, for example, playing jay z would really play the chili peppers and so on. this was also happening with force closes of music, dolphin, and my gallery app ( but only when trying to view the library, not the camera roll). After fixing permissions multiple times and rebooting like a mofo and uninstalling google music and reinstalling and SHUTting down phone and restarting without using the "reboot" option that is btw f'in awesome but may be a bit buggy, I got everything back to good working order.
Point in case: lesson learned, I will wipe all data from now on hahaha
