I would like to give it a shot as well. But am in the same boat. Well except I'm just an electrician so im pretty dumb.

Would I be able to theme using a mac? I do have it dual booting with osx and ubuntu. But I haven't really used ubuntu much. And my pc I use to sbf is a dog.

Well, I'm a builder, so if I can do it you can too. I'm completely unfamiliar with mac. Haven't used an apple device in about 14 yrs. For ease of resources and how to tutorials to help along the way I would suggest windows. If you can sbf with your pc, you can theme. The programs you use are VERY small. Pm me if you are still interested.

Well, what im going to do it essentially use ONLY the core system from 5.6 and use all the apps from mavrom 1.1 that are from 5.7. I will incorporate that hack you linked and see how it goes and make an evaluation as we have already determined a set of memory values SO it may end up being a mix of the two,

You be happy to know that with the toolbox you will be able to select from 3 different sets of values! The memory changes it makes is the same thing as the memory adjustments we made. Some of the other stuff we picked through

Yes I read that. But I thought that was about the V6 supercharger script? The speedy thing disables a lot of android logging etc

Two suggestions I would like to make. These are both things I miss from Liberty on my D2.

The first would be, when enableing the pattern unlock, instead of having to slide to unlock, and then drawing the pattern, just have the pattern unlock on the screen.

Second, I would love to see an integrated play/pause button on the unlock screen. I know you said that it works with the built in music player, but I almost exclusively use google music/DI.fm. Having the button able to control those programs would be fantastic.

Good Anyway all I can say is e.g. the camera opens in 1 second after applying speedyv7_flashable.zip instead of 3 seconds

This is a result of the memory tweaks. Camera starts up in 1-2 secs now. What happens with the stock oom settings is the camera is low priority and is one of the first apps the system kills when it needs memory. New settings allow it to stay in memory for quick start up.

I dont know if im doing anything wrong but after I flashed the rom everthing still looks the same on my home screen just the wallpaper changed all icons look the same.

Alarm Bug Found

I found a small bug with the alarm. When I set the alarm, say for 8am, the notification will come up and say the alarm is set for 8 hours and 3 minutes from now (its 11:57pm). However, when looking at the screen where it shows all your alarms and whether they are active or not, it says the alarm is set for 8pm. If I switch the alarm to 8pm, it displays as 8am. I dont have a screen shot app (or time right now with exams) but I can screen shot and show you exactly what I mean in the future.

This is something I've noticed too, but just compensated for. When you do go to take screenshots, I suggest the app "screenshot". I've searched high and low and this simple app with a minimalist name seems to work flowlessly. No stripes, no superuser message, just a screenshot.

Maybe.. usually I'm pretty sceptical when it comes to tweaks.. But my phone is noticeably faster and yesterday i was at 55% battery after 12-13h of usage. I've never seen those numbers before on my phone and I haven't used my phone less than normal
