I don't trust leaks. I'll wait until i've got the phone in my hand, and then make my decision.:)

I will just keep throwing some pics up.. we shall see how close they are in line with release date

With the complaints about the 3xl stacking up, this could end up being the sleeper phone of the year.

Only thing that would hurt them would be releasing with Oreo and not having a plan to update to pie in the coming weeks.

But if they have a clean release (releases free of any major hardware or software issue), have pie, and get the device to work on Verizon, this could do good.

I think it's going to ship with Pie... I could be wrong kinda remember reading it somewhere... I don't take theae complaints so seriously on the Pixel... It seems always every release something pops up on all these phones...

Agree. Every device release with their share of hiccups and bugs. This includes the latest iPhone and note phone. Phones that have criticism before release will have their issues highlighted versus a phone without.
Kind of how after every note, since the note 7, had people eagle eyed on the (battery).

The Pixel 3xl came off of the rocky release of the 2xl. So issues, no matter how big or small, get heightened. And even more so when Google justify their hardware having less RAM than the competition because of their software. So when their software have issues, especially with RAM management, the critiques will follow.

Flagship level phones get flagship level critiques. It's part of the game. A $200 Blu phone can get away with a heck of a lot more issues than the iPhone. Blu phone may be loaded with bugs, but the iPhone may have a small percentage of phones with chargegate, and one will get a video made about it, while the other is ignored.
