Openvpn & gb liberty 0.5

Has anyone had any success with tun. Ko?
I can connect just fine, but tun does not get ip address.
I've tried multiple versions of tun.ko but none agree with 591/2.6.32.9-g0bae333.

Ps. Couldn't get ko to stick until I separated from tun. !
