Going over on my data package is not really anything that I have to worry about. I am luckily on a grandfathered unlimited data plan with Verizon. My family regularly uses over 60GB per month. We don't do anything stupid or crazy either. This data is mostly used watching youtube videos, netflix or streaming music and podcasts. We rack up the data pretty quickly.
If you are on a limited data plan you may want to change your browser to Opera. They have included a new feature called Opera turbo that strips the web of all the extra unnecessary content that hogs up all your bandwidth. It can even [reduce] the size of videos you stream. This one simple change could save you lots of money.
