opera vs stock web browser and speedtest issue

so I installed the opera web browser and headed over to speakeasy.net/speedtest to test my download speeds.

my download rate on my opera browser greatly differs from the stock browsers results. anyone else see this type of issue using a different browser?

Opera uses data compression, so you will not get an accurate speedtest result while using it.

The compression is a good thing though, especially for those folks who have limited data plans.
