Orientation sensor annoying me, broken?

I feel like every time I unlock my phone and launch an app, it thinks I have the phone rotated in landscape mode when I clearly don't.

Is there any way to re-calibrate this sensor? The problem began with Bugless 0.1 (Froyo) but I think it's more coincidence than a result of the ROM.

Mine has been doing same thing since installing Froyo frfxx and frf57. It is slow but eventually figures out how I am holding it.

Yeah I also have this issue since switching to froyo. Happens alot when I open a text message.

My phone is driving me crazy doing what you have described! Is there a way to calibrate?

Do you have it set to vibrate when you unlock or launch an app. I have noticed that the vibrate function nearly always fools the accelerometer into believing the phone is in landscape.
