Ok, here's the info:
I have a droid x, rooted via z4root, installed some bloat and failed to make a backup of same. Complete noob move, I know. Now to further complicate this all, I only have access to a Mac, which is why I downloaded the files from the linked site below.
I just want to update my phone, root I'd move but unimportant.
The question I have is this,
Where exactly do I place these files to be able to use them? Everytime I try to use the update from zip via bootstrap, I receive an error telling me the system cannot find the updater.zip file.
So, do I rename these files (one at a time & reboot) or do I place them someplace specific on the sd card?
Any and all help will be greatly appreciated.
