Otterbox Front Doesn't Clip

I just received my otterbox case and upon installing the front frame, it wouldn't stay on! I tried holding it down, but the top left corner keeps popping up! Anybody have this issue?

hmm i guess mine is faulty. I contacted otterbox and they're setting me up with a warranty claim. I just emailed them and they responded fairly quick! I was upset at first, but they seem to be very helpful. I shall update on how this goes

Otterbox and Seidio both have good customer service. Like any company they make mistakes, but they always seem to take care of you in the end.

I guessing you just received one that didn't have any clips.I'm sure they'll get this taken care of. :)

sure seems like it! its the first time i bought a case from this company. first phone i have ever wanted to protect this much since my sidekick 3!

This is a shot in the dark but are you putting it on in the correct orientation? For example, with my Seidio I had a similar problem when I first tried to put the front piece of the case on. It wouldn’t snap on like it was supposed to, kind of like yours. I messed with it for 30mins before I realized there was a small cutout/hole on one side of the case for the mic that you talk into. I had the mic cutout on the top of the phone, the opposite of where it was supposed to be. Once I switched it around the case snapped on perfectly.

Like I said its probably not the problem, but just wanted put that out there just in case.

Hah, yeah i made sure of that the first time i put it on. Good call tho. It was frustrating me so much i tried putting it backwards! No good tho

I just received my replacement otterbox from the manufacturer, and I'm still having the same problem! Anybody else having trouble?!

I'm having exactly the same issue. And I've had mine replaced from the manufacturer. My wife also has a Droid and both the original and replacement front piece fit her Droid perfectly.

Anyone have any ideas? I really want to use the Otterbox as it seems superior to most of the garbage out there, but......

Is my phone defective somehow?

i'm having the same problem. The front fits fine on my friend's droid but won't stay on with mine. it's incredibly infuriating.

Wow, that's odd! I wonder if there's a "bad batch" of front case parts floating around out there?

I have the Otterbox Commuter case and I love it! I have zero problems with it. The front case part is snapped onto my Droid very securely... to the point where it takes a bit of effort to remove compared to other cases I've used.
