Overheating message...

So i recently picked up a droid 2 with a cracked screen. I then proceeded to swap the internals into my Droid 1 With a non-cracked screen. Everything went well. Phone was working great, I went ahead and began rooting it. So i rooted it put a custom rom on (liquid smooth) then i went to install a custom kernal and It would not boot It got stuck at the boot screen

Well I went back and installed the stock sbf and un rooted it. Long story short now its working again. But it keeps telling me my phone is overheating when it clearly is not. It is not even sort of warm.

Why and how do i reset whatever thinks its overheating? there must be some sensor that is malfunctioning...

I'm not sure why it's overheating, but for future reference, you can't flash a custom kernel on the D2.

Okay I will keep that in mind about the kurnals. But that's exactly it. The phone is NOT overheating. Its not even warm and it is triggering the warning and shutting down.
