Paid app shows unpurchased

Last night I went to play need for speed which I had purchased around Christmas time. It had been working fine and I was nearing completion of the game, but when I turned it on, it started me over from the beginning (all saved data lost apparently). I went to the market to see the comments if anyone else had this problem, and the app wasn't in my "downloads" section, and when searching for the app, it showed the price instead of saying "purchased". Has anyone had the problem of purchased apps disappearing from your downloads area? I am worried that if I have to reset my phone or install a new rom, that I wont be able to re-download since it isnt listed as owned by me.

I emailed EA last Friday about this, and have yet to get a response. They have absolutely ignored my query. Damn shame that a company as big as EA considers this the proper way to handle customer service; but then again, when you get as big as they are, you probably no longer care about the customer.

I would email the devs or google.

If you email Google, they tell you to email the dev. If you email EA, they send you a canned response that they received your request and will get back to you. From that point on, it seems they totally ignore you.

Google is your friend, though - the APK is floating around the 'net and isn't hard to find at all. (Not condoning piracy, but since the OP legitimitely purchased the app it's not piracy)
