I downloaded the app and its giving me warning about extra data charges , should I be worried about this?

No, it's standard language. It's for people on carriers that don't necessarily require data. If you have a Moto Droid, you're on VZW, and you're also on an unlimited data package. You're ok.
I use Pandora or Droid Live 5 hours a day while at work....I'm at just over 3.5gb of data and I have til the 11th.....not that there is any worry about going over a cap since there isn't one.

I do 3D Mechanical Coordination and Manage our Robotic Total Stations that we have in the field.... I squeeze a bit of work in here and there :icon_ devil:

And I like when they argue back at you like you don't know what you're talking about even though you work for VZW. Sometimes I miss my old job.....

TLDR:
As it is now, everyone has an unlimited data plan with VZW, and workaround approaches to tethering that isn't officially implemented. Sometime early this year, VZW is gonna implement official tether functionality for users who want to take advantage of that route. And with official tethering comes an additional tethering plan at a 5GB cap.
