PDANET + PC + Wirless Router ?security?

Ok i have tethered my droid to my pc with pdanet then through ICS to my wireless router and everything works as i had hoped but now i want security
how do i change my SSID and set up WPA/WPA2

That should all happen thru your router...

I have my PDA Connection setup to use ICS for my Local Area Connection (wired), (thru a Win7 machine)
but am having problems accessing the internet thru the router on my secondary laptop...WinXP Sp3

How did you get the ICS connection to be recognized thru the router?

Your issue of WPA/WPA2/WEP, you should be able to set that up thru your router interface...for your wireless connections.
