Phishing Scam on Droid X

I just bought a Droid X, and was surprised that when tried to us the default browser to go to google.com, it redirected me to gift-secure.com, an obvious phishing scam site. Has my phone possibly been compromised, or is this just some DNS hack on Verizon's end?

Honestly it's much more likely you may have made a typo. Goggle.com redirects to there.
