Phoe auto wakes from sleep?

Every now-and-then my phone will just turn on automatically. I think i read about a problem where some apps keep your phone awake but the screen is off so its using a lot of battery. Could this be something similar? Is there a app that will tell me exactly what apps are doing what? I know theres cpu monitor apps but i want one that monitors app activity and maybe what the android os is doing to be using 30% of my usuage. Could it alse be a kernel issue? i just flashed zygot3 1.8 which uses apex v4(?)

nevermind... people kept on talking about a "betterbatterystats" but when i searched it i was putting spaces inbetween so i was downloading a different app(widget.)

It has been my experience that when a phone appears to turn itself on, what is actually happening is the phone is rebooting itself. Anytime I have strange issues after installing a new rom, I immediately reinstall the rom without wipes. If the issues continue, I reinstall the rom with wipes. That process has worked for me every single time. I've used the Zyot3 roms and they were rock solid stable on my phone.

Good luck.

Oh and if your Android OS is a high consumer of battery:

As noted in a lot of threads on a lot of forums, there are some phones that have a problem with the Android OS and the "Keep Awake" time. It turns out that some phones are not actually going to sleep when you manually turn off the screen with the power button like they do when the screen timeout is reached. In stock form and with every rom (except one) that I have installed, my "Keep Awake" time was always about 50-60% of my total battery time. If the phone had been off charger for 8 hours, I'd have 4-6 hours of Andorid OS "Keep Awake" time. This was true even if the phone had been in my pocket unused.

This rom specifically addresses the issue: http://forum.xda-developers.com/show....php?t=1402350 This is from post #1: "screen off (by user) timeout override -> by default android only uses a timeout when the screen times out by itself. this lets you force android to use the same timeout for when you turn the screen off yourself"

This has dramatically reduced my Keep Awake times and has helped my battery usage. YMMV

Probably you have "wakelock" issue, which holds your phone awake,
Check for "Wakelock detector" : WLD at XDA Thread
