Phone call quality

I recently purchased a verizon droid razr maxx HD.

- I have noticed that if I call someone with an iphone, they complain that I sound muffled and robotic. This occurs with a full signal.
- If I call people on a landline or other droid phones, they can hear me very clearly without any issues

- The problem with calling iphones occurs whether they are on verizon, at&t or t-mobile networks. I can hear people perfectly clearly but they have issues hearing what I am saying on the call.


I am curious if anyone else has noticed this as well.

My daughter has an iPhone 5, and she can hear/talk to me fine on my maxx hd, no issues at all? We are both on a Verizon family share plan.

I have tried calling a number of friends across phones and networks. Friends with iphones consistently have an issue hearing me clearly though I hear them crystal clear.

I am not sure what's causing this. This is the one issue I have with this phone - which I really like otherwise.
