Phone calls

Is it normal for when making phone calls or receiving them for the 3g/4g bars to go grey? It doesn't happen every time, nor does it drop my calls. I have only had 1 - 4 dropped calls since launch, so not sure if that's it or not? Or this is normal? Or just something in my settings I am missing?

Yep. You can't talk and surf on 3g. Only HTC phones do that. You can do both if you are on wifi tho

If you're on 4g it means you can talk and surf. LTE is capable of this, CDMA isn't.

Also it being gray, just means you don't have connection to Google servers.
