Phone / Dialer takes forever to make call

When I press a contact or previously called # from history or contacts, it takes up to 10 seconds to dial the # and for the screen to change to "dialing" screen. Does anyone else see this happening? Could it have something to do with "linking" contacts?

Any thoughts would be appreciated,

My D1 does that on occasion....I had always attributed it to low RAM, but that shouldn't be an issue for the Dinc

this has happened on my old feature phone along with my wife's. I also attribute it to getting signal. Sometimes it happens when my phone is in my pocket and i try to make a quick call.
