Phone does not do vibrate notification when set on vibrate

Can any one help me with how I have the settings? When moving the volume rocker on the side down to vibrate, it gives me the notification that I am in vibrate, as well as leaving the icon on top. However no messages or phone calls vibrate.. The green light is the only thing notifying me..

Anyone able to help with how I have my settings set?

Hey, they put that in a silly spot. What you do is open your message app and then hit the menu key and go to settings. Then scroll down and check vibrate. That's it.

one of my coworkers is having the same problem. its set to vibrate and everything, but no vibrate on incoming text or email

I'm having the same issues. It alert fine when the sound isn't muted, but when you switch it to silent you get no alerts at all. I've toggled on the vibrate mode on both txt and email and been through every setting I can think of. How do you get it to alert you when in the silent mode??
