Phone gone wild

For the third time since I've had the phone -6mo-it simply took off and did whatever it pleased. Haven't had any data corruption but the screen is off to the touch and the home button did not respond. Verizon surrendered and is shipping me a new phone. My question is how to get the new phone up to speed. I have backed up with my backup pro. If the new phone comes with sd card do I just run restore? If no sd card just insert old sd card and go? Have until Tues to figure it out-in the meantime keyboard typing only. Thanks

new phone doesn't come with SD, battery, or battery cover.

you take it from your original phone and place it all yourself then send your defected unit in. your backup pro will transfer everything from your old phone to your new phone.
