Phone Hot and Discharging...

I put my phone on the charger last night at like 3 in the morning. I woke up at 8. The phone claimed it was 90% charged. I went and took a shower. When I came back, it was hot to touch and at 80% so I restarted it. I then placed it back on the charger. It went down to 70%. I am not at a loss of what to do! It is a DROID pro.

Clearly some process is such using 100% cpu. Download watchdog to find out what it is. The full version is actually free on the amazon app store today, but the lite version is fine and is in the market as well.

You may try go to setting>battery manager, then there is some info about battery usage statistic. Hope it can help you.

Happens to me every so often. Not sure why but the extended battery drains in about 30 minutes
