phone possessed?

I had the strangest thing happen, and came up with no answers through search, so I thought id post it here. Since I have a really weak signal, I'm constantly trying *228 and hoping for a miracle.

Normally when I dial *228 the screen is simply grey in color. Yesterday though, the top of the screen was red at the top. Tried again and back to grey, so I just assumed I was seeing stuff. Today, same thing, but this time screen was blue at the top. Was able to re create this twice, and now back to grey.

I know it has nothing to do with the option you're going for, because this happens before I select a number.

Just curious if anyone else has seen this, and what the colors might mean.

Drop the phone and run as fast as you can. The self distruct mode has been activated. (JK) I really don't have an answer for you.

Screens will sometimes do strange thing in response to the phone being charged with a non Motorola cord/charger. Could that be it?
