Phone upgrade recommendations?

I have a Droid Pro right now which I love because it's half touch screen and half keyboard without a slide out (which is fantastic!) but, I can upgrade in the next 6 months and I was wondering what would be the best phone to go to?

I know the Droid Pro is basically an old phone style now and I'm pretty much going to be forced into an ALL touch screen phone but I really don't want that. Does anyone know of any similar phones like the Pro that is more.... up to date?

I'm glad I went with a Droid over an iPhone since I hate apps, but I love widgets! I read the forum for the Rumors, but I'd like to know what phone out there is truly the BEST or the most highly recommended.

These are the things I'm looking for:
Keypad (preferable)
Touch screen
Widgets
Fast processing
ROM changer
Reasonably sized
Rootable
Good battery life (sick of charging my phone twice a day!)
Something that is not first generation (usually has less bugs)

Droid 4 or Droid 3. Depends if you want 4G or GSM compatibility.

What's the difference between GSM and 4G? Which one is faster/better?

4G=LTE which is ludicrous speed compared to gsm(3G) but only works in the US. GSM is more for global phones that you'd want to be able to pop in a different carrier's SIM card and roll, like you can with the Droid Pro/2Global/3.
