Phone will not configure email.

I am trying to configure 2 email accounts into the phone and I get error messages for both accounts, I have tried everything to get these to work. Has anyone else had trouble with this?

It seems google only wants the phone to read gmail for some reason. Naturally, the phone notifies me that some yahoo accounts do not work and to contact them,...(no surprise lol).

Any help would be appreciated.

i have several other email accounts going to my droid. (hotmail, cox.net etc). what i the error your getting? do u have imap enabled on the accounts your getting the errors with?

What accounts are you trying to set up? I have Cox and Yahoo.

what provider are those accounts with? Yahoo in particular is problematic and depending on your yahoo account, you may not be able to use it with the native email app.

Thanks for the replies, I got my gmx account and home email to work finally. I figured to leave yahoo out so I'm good to go at 3 accounts lol. I kept getting 'server cannot be reached' or something to that effect.
