Phone wont update

When I try to update to latest software on my Droid X it downloads and restarts and says "Update Failed" ... I do have my Droid rooted so im guessing it has to do with this? I also use Bootstrapper and Titanium Backup, the phone was rooted using z4root.

Try dialing *228 to connect to the closest tower(some towers wont release the update for some reason) then go to "about phone" in your settings, then system update. It should work then. If not. You can always take it in to the verizon store (not a kiosk, has to be a corporate store) and they should help
