Phone wont vibrate for any messages

While in Vibrate(or Normal) mode the phone will not vibrate for Texts or Emails(Gmail). I have it set in the application to Vibrate but it will not.

I have a factory Incredible with the 2.1 OS, non rooted, no abnormal apps(I dont think anyway), and have had the phone for about a week and a half now.

What should I do to get this to work? Its kind of a PITA to not get a notification on messages while in places where I cant have the sound on or cant hear it.

yeah, i'm having this issue too. i even had the guy at verizon look at it and he couldn't figure it out. he said "it's probably just a bug that will be addressed in the next update coming out for the system".

someone please help us?? :-(

Download sound manager app..i was having the same problem but this fixed it.. I even deleted the app

I had the same issue. Download Sound Manager app, go into Menu>Vibrate Settings. Under Notification settings select Vibrate whenever possible. This will fix it.
