How can you change the PRIMARY designation of one number for a contact to another number for the same contact. I have a Mobil number marked as primary and I want their HOME number to be the primary....

If you sign into www.google.com/contacts with your phone account, will it let you change the settings there? I don't have any contacts with a primary phone number, so no way of testing it out.

There is NO option in Google maintenance to switch antoher phone number to be the primary. I;m stuck with the wrong number being the primary number. There has got to be a way to do this.....

eddie, i'm not sure but i think if you delete the contact, re-enter it with the primary number and then do the shortcut. after you do that then go back in to the contact and edit it listing whatever other number you want. there may be an easier way but not that i know of. hope this helps
