PhoneMyPC problem with update

So I recently just updated to the new 2.0.2 software version on my laptop an now my laptop wont show up. I notice in the settings on my phone theres an option about license key that I don't remember in previous versions. Am I suppose to be putting something in this area in order for my laptop to show up. I never had to anything before in setting this up besides entering my user name an password. Any help?
 
The license key option has been there. They are just getting it ready for when it is out of beta. As long as you have updated the phone app and the PC app (don't forget to uninstall the older version first, their installer isn't the greatest), then I would open the PC app and confirm your settings.

With me, I think it reset to all blank so I had to put in a username and pass again along with a computer name. I just used the same one I had before so I didn't need to change it on my phone. As long as they match up on your phone and computer you can make them whatever you want, so I would double check you are using the same login info in both apps.

The new update actually fixed a lot of bugs I was having in the last update, it's back to working great!
 
Skurvy is spot-on.

If you're having problems, make sure your versions are all updated (phone too), then:
* Double-click the PhoneMyPC icon in the System tray
* Look at the title of the window
* If it shows (Connected), then it's working properly, and the problem is almost surely a mismatch of your user name and/or password on the Phone and PC

Feel free to email us if you still need help; we're not quite as fast as we used to be (temporarily), but we're still pretty quick most times.
