Phone's Battery is Overheating

My phone gave me a verbal message that my phone's battery (extended battery 2750 mah) was overheating, this as occured several times now, has anyone else had this problem?

Are you outside in the heat? Is it an oem extended battery? Some non oem batteries can be cheaply made and might overheat easier. If your in the heat find someplace to cool your phone off or at the very least turn it off and let it cool down.

I failed to mention that I have an app called “V CAST Media Manager (2153)”, I can’t find where to uninstall this app but it tries to download all the time. This may be where my overheating is coming from. Any ideas?

Go into your sync settings and shut the sync off.
