Photos Missing From Gallery

When someone sends me a hunting pic, of say a deer from their game camera, or one they took with their phone..and usually text or to me..I save to internal card, not the exact term or choice.

I noticed some missing as I went to forward them from Gallery Download.

How could that be?

Look in other gallery folders. I found some of my saved text photos in the DCIM folder.

Also some can wind up in the vault folder idk y..but I've had it happen..

I'm getting better every day.I cut grass with a Kubota zero turn, I drive, I mounted two LED lights bars. My left hand will be last to get fine motor movement. I work on our every day. I'm just impatient. Like a fat guy in front of a microwave yelling hurry up !

The pics are there somewhere. Sometimes when I download pics from this forum they go to the DCIM folder instead of Downloads, like Tis mentioned. Not often, but once in a while.

Are you using a file explorer?? I used ES but don't recommend it anymore..too much crud and invasive..

Good morning TxDoc. I assume you still did not find the pic you were looking for in either the Download or DCIM folder? One other thing I have noticed is that sometimes a downloaded pic will appear in the Gallery based on the pic creation date and not the downloaded date. I dwonloaded a pic from my e-mail on Saturday and didn't find it right away in the Gallery. The pic was taken years ago so it was way at the bottom of my Gallery > Download folder.
