Pictures and SD card prompt

Can't export pix to Mac. Yes, I've followed the instructions.

But I keep getting a message that says I have to insert an SD card.

Didn't the SD card come with my phone? Otherwise it wouldn't work?

I apologize for my stupidity, but I want to get started using this function.
