Pictures not restoring after root

I used Wugfresh 1.6.1 to unlock & root but pictures are now grey in my gallery (correct #) and have the correct properties (size) but no visual. Also, says " cannot play this video".

Any input or advice would be greatly appreciated.

Cleared media storage data, rebooted and it brought back 5 pics that were there before (Bluetooth, edited etc..) all the other pics & videos that were there but were grey are gone. I'm getting worried. I've tried everything I can think of.

Are you using ROM manager? Are you running a custom ROM or are you stock rooted? Do you have root explorer or another file explorer close to it?

Use a file explorer such as root explorer or something similar. Find SD card > DCIM and look to see if there is anything that says .nomedia
Also, when you deleted data from the gallery app...did you clear cache also and force it closed?

Unlocking your bootloader wipes your SD card. Did you copy the contents of DCIM folder to your computer before unlocking?

Yes, I used Wugfresh's 1.6.1 toolkit and followed every step very carefully. Everything restored except my gallery.
