Pictures to wallpaper are stretchedand blurry?

Can someone try this? Go to interfacelift.com and download a wallpaper. Try to save it as home screen background. Does it seem stretched and blurry? What resolution do I need and how do I get the wallpaper to look properly? Thanks.
