pinch & zoom in email?

Is there a way to get pinch & zoom in email. I'm currently using K9 and have also checked it on the stock client. This is a feature that is sorely needed. I'm on Froyo FRG22D

No kidding. I keep hoping the guys at K9 will add this but the devs never respond about this. And when they do it's usually, "it's unlikely any of the developers will have time to look into this any time soon."

Unfortunate. iPhone mail client does this beautifully...sigh.
