I should be getting it on Monday! So far I've read some bad things about it but MOSTLY great things so yeah I'm really excited. I have 14 days to make sure everything is working as it should.
Did you order from amazon? If so and I under stand the TOS correctly, if you return the device to Verizon during your 14 day period then amazon will charge you $250 for not keeping it 181 days....

Congrats...I think you'll love the Razr. If you haven't already, read some of the post here about battery life and ways to extend time between charges. A little discipline and planning will solve a lot of battery issues. In fact the thread just above this one is a good place to start. I've had the Razr since 11.11.11.11 and I don't have one single complaint. As far as reported data loss...I think it is a 4g problem...so if you don't have a strong 4g signal or are moving between 3g and 4g, just leave the phone in CDMA only mode and wait for Verizon or Moto get update the 4g technology or firmware.

Ordering from Amazon is safe, he doesn't need to return it Verizon (you can't, you bought it from Amazon). Returns to Amazon are easy and awesome compared to most online stores. Amazon is definitely #1 online retailer in US.

I ordered it straight from Verizon. I thought about saving some money going through Amazon or Costco but in the end I decided to not risk it by going third party. Specially risk my unlimited data plan. I was filling out the upgrade forms on both costco.com and amazon.com and when I clicked on upgrade>keep my existing plan they both listed the 4Gig data plan as my data plan. Plus when I asked in store costco people about if I would keep my unlimited data plan they always responded with an iffy "yes". I didn't want to risk it specially since I'm planning on buying lapdock and I am a 5gig and above user.

Thanks! Yes I've reading up on battery saving tips like getting to know smart actions and ciclyng the battery (when I get it charge it all the way up then let it die and charge it all the way up again right?) To be honest, some of these battery life times people are complaining about I wish i'd get out of my OG Droid. Speaking of my Droid I must admit after I hung up with the VZW rep I got a little sentimental looking at my Droid... we had some good times!
I also believe the 4G dropping issue is a VZW issue (my 3G has been giving me problems since people first complained about them on the Bionic and they turned on 4G in my area)
