Anyone else have issues with getting clear photos on your Razr? Every photo i take, regardless of setting comes out blurry. Have played with every setting there is and still can't get clear shots.

Camera ZOOM FX from the market. HUGE difference in picture quality. Stock camera is horrible. I came from an I4s so everything is a down grade. Still not a perfect picture but better

Not sure what your cell phone experience is with cell phones but, in general you have to have a fairly steady hand when taking pictures on a cell phone. Also, pictures of anything moving are fairly difficult to take (clearly anyways). I've come to terms with the fact that:

1. Cell phone cameras are for "general use" and suited best for landscape and portrait (of non-moving...i.e. sports) photos.
2. Digital cameras are still a must (especially if you have children)...for anything with moving objects (like sports, children...or the like).

Most people (cell-phone critics) heavily criticize cell phone cameras and all expect way too much out of them (given current/available technology). Will cell phones ever catch up to a digital camera??...well, IMO yes and no; but it's going to be awhile...don't hold your breath.

I will say though, that not all (currently available) cell phone cameras are NOT created equal. Some are definitely better than others so if you are buying a cell phone and the primary reason is for camera quality then do your research. iPhones do produce one of the best photos I have seen in a cell phone. I will get a lot of crap for saying that on here but all-in-all...do your research.

Not sure what the knock is against the RAZR camera or the stock camera app either. I've taken some pretty good shots with my RAZR. Yes the iPhone 4S does better, but overall the RAZR is pretty good. It takes better pics than the Rezound when I had it.

no offense but your buying a cellphone homie, not a nikon. its gunna get the job done but not gunna produce those magical photos every single time. if every image is blur your camera is borked, call get phone replaced. other then that. thats all i got to say.

I've noticed about 3 out of 10 shots comes out blurry but all in all still takes good pics for being a cell phone. No not a Nikon but good nonetheless

Camera shake, keep the darn thing steady! You can't use a tripod but you can use the world as a tripod when ever you can.
(Lock your camera against a post, car roof, anything solid. You should have sharper pics.)

I'm not sure, but the shutter speed seems to be a bit slow on these cameras, moving objects and camera shake will cause blurred images.

My husband bought and iPhone s the same day I got this razr. We have compared them side by side. Mine are better by far. Make sure you removed the plastic protective covering of the back.

Apparently i should have clarified.

1. I know it's a phone, i wasn't expecting it to equal my dslr.
2. Yes i let it focus and have kept it still and regardless of lighting it still sucks.

Again, i dont expect it to be amazing, but my last piece of junk, LG Ally, took photos far superior to what this thing produces. I did not think it would rival the iphone in quality, but i did expect somewhat reasonable clarity.

I have noticed that my droid x seemed to take better pics and they claim its the same camera hardware. I think its the software and hope to see an improvement with ICS.

I'm pretty happy with the camera, its not as fast as an HTC or iPhone but clarity is beyond the Bionic, which I had as well. Just took this outside in very low light

Obviously cell phone cameras ate not going to be as good as a to digital camera but I disagree with the above. I have 4 kids all involved in sports and various other activities and my wife and I have done away with all cameras. I use my RAZR camera religiously and the pics are fantastic. Vacations, sports, holidays, etc. The panoramic function is very cool and I loved the action shots.
