Porting CyanogenMod to Another Phone

How can I install CyanogenMod on my phone. Add applications, change settings, create a backup, and install it on someone else's phone?

I tried to do the above and I was unable to remove my gmail address from the other phone. Is there a way I can do this?

Can I create a backup after a complete data wipe and not do the gmail setup wizard?

You can't use your gmail address on the other phone because it's already in use by yours. For the google apps to work, a unique gmail account must be logged into the phone.

What if you used his gmail info to set it up and make the back up. then when you wipe ur phone again just put ur info back in. I would think that would have it all set.
