Possessed. ?

My Droid is relatively new, never damaged, and seems to be possessed. Sometimes it works fine, then others, it starts to press links, and navigate for me, the only way to prevent it posting a social status, or calling random people from my directory is to turn off the screen.

Is this happening to anyone else? I wiped it by doing the factory reset. I really don't want to mess with rooting it, and I really don't want to call customer service - unless that is my last resort...

none of the other forum threads really match this scenario, they come close, but mine is fairly unique, I think?

any ideas?

ok - apparently this is happening to more than just me

i found other threads with the same issue (finally)

seems like an exchange is the best way (as the chord isn't the issue, no anti-virus, after factory reset still having issues even with no 3rd party apps)
