Possible to share an SD card between phones?

Hello,

I have a Nexus, but am traveling abroad for a couple weeks so I got an Incredible 2 via Verizon's rental program. Unfortunately they don't consider an SD card a requirement, so the rental phone doesn't have one. This totally screws me, since I need to save some Google maps locally so they'll work in remote areas without a data signal.

I was wondering if I could just use the card currently in my Nexus. I don't want to format it or anything though. Would it be possible just to move it between the devices without data loss?

Thanks!

Sorry to say it but the nexus does not have an SD card so unfortunately you can not.

No problem. And a lot of times you will see it referred to as an SD or SD partition, something along those lines, but the difference is it is not removable.

Although you aren't able to do this (since your Nexus doesn't have an SD card) the answer to your question is "yes, in most cases you can remove the SD card from one Android phone and put it into another".
