Possibly bricked phone. Please help

I was trying to FXZ back to stock from the new unleashed rom, following instructions on this page vDroid Bionic Receives Fastboot Recovery Files - BriefMobile. Ran RSD lite according to instructions and it kept failing repeatedly. Now phone will only boot into fastboot. Tried the instruction on flashing with linux below RFD instructions. System.img will send and write but boot keeps failing with the following error message: (bootloader) Preflash validation failure


Please help!
