Posting/Sending Video?

I currently have my video settings set to:

Resolution: 720x480
Image Quality: Superfine

I'm not able to send a video (even only a short minute or two) via text, e-mail (Gmail) or to post to Facebook. I realize that there are file size limitations, so what am I doing wrong? What should I have my settings set to and still have a good quality video to be able to e-mail, text or post videos?

Thanks in advance for any help you can offer!

I just always upload to youtube and send the link.

Thanks for the reply, but isn't there a better way? The few times that I've tried to upload to YouTube I was told that I needed a WiFi connection. I was hoping that I'd be able to shoot a video (not a 30 minute documentary, just a quick 1 or 2 minute video) and then text, e-mail, Facebook the video?

the longest video I have captured on my card right now is 42 seconds long at 720p. it is 52MB in size. thats way to big for email, and would take forever to upload over 3G (and a fair amount of time over wifi even)
try using the lowest resolution or upload file to a file sharing site or cloud storage.
