Power control widget

This is more a software issue but thought I would ask it here. How do you get rid of the power control widget? By accident, I managed to place two of them on my home screen. I try to drag one copy to the trash can and it won't seem to dump it. It just moves it down to the bottom of the screen. I hate clutter - please help!

That is how to do it. Drag it to the trash can, when the icon turns red let go.

PoolShark is right ..... you may have to press/click & hold for a couple seconds before it drags...
