Power Cycling!

Well i've had the Droid X obviously since launch and have had mine power cycle on me 3 times so far. First time was when i docked it on the Docking station and then 2 other times when starting/running the 3g Mobile hotspot application. Called VZW earlier to see if this is a known issue yet or had any reports and the rep stated no. If anyone has had this issue be sure to call into Verizon and report it.

i get that about every 10 -15 mins unless its on the charger. Battery charge is not at all an issue. I already went to verizon and it did it for them so they called it DOA. Now i just gotta wait for my new one. Man id like if the update fixes this.

My X power cycled twice yesterday during camera use about 2 hours apart. Today i've been using the phone all day and it hasn't powercycled. I installed all of my old apps(53 apps). I'll wait for the software update and a couple hard resets before I call up tech support.

did any of your reboot issues get fixed with the update? it seemed to fix mine great and i wanna make sure before i cancel my replacement

I haven't had any power cycles since the update yesterday morning... i love my fone again

I've also had my droid x since launch and I have had a total of zero problems.....also diggin this Swype keyboard!!!!! This phone is gonna be the greatest for the next couple of weeks!! Lol

I've had the same random reboot problem. Even after the update. Does it 3 or 4 times a day...that I notice. Did it yesterday while trying to make a call and today i saw it when starting the browser.

I just got my phone yesterday and it has been power cycling randomly since i got it. It does not matter if im in a call, its sitting next to me doing nothing, or whether im messing with apps it will restart. Verizon is going to send me a new one.
